Long before it was engraved upon metal or placed within temples, the Shri Ganesha Yantra was contemplated as the sacred geometric expression of Lord Ganesha's wisdom. As the Ganapatya tradition evolved, it came to represent a timeless truth: Every worthy beginning deserves the guidance of wisdom. Perhaps that is why Lord Ganesha is always worshipped first; not because the path will be free of obstacles, but because wisdom must always take the first step.
